During Lockdown and the Covid 19 Pandemic some of our regular fundraising activities could not go ahead as normal. However we have continued with our charitable work. Showing our support for people like Captain Sir Thomas Moore and our wonderful NHS staff.
Dress Up Friday's
Every Friday during December we had 'Dress Up Friday's'.
Each week we could wear a different garment to our school uniform. These included: hats, jumpers, slippers and socks. The money raised went to CAFOD. In total we raised £214.50
Autumn Charity Work
During the Autumn term we worked extremely hard to raise money for people less fortunate than ourselves. We took part in Children In Need. We sold Poppies in November
Soup and Bread Lunch
During April our Year 5 & 6 children take part in a soup and bread lunch which raises around £50.00 for our Lenten Charities.
Looks like they all enjoyed their tomato soup.
In the past our Year 6 pupils ran a very successful Lent Fayre on raising a total of £506.66
A fantastic effort from everyone involved.
In the past we have sent a CAFOD collection box home with every child at the beginning of Lent. Some of these boxes were filled very generously with spare coins. This year CAFOD is showing how important it is to have access to clean, safe water. If you want to find out more about the 'Walk for Water' this year there is lots of information on the CAFOD website.
A massive thank you and well done to all the children who turned up in their very colourful outfits for
Red Nose Day on the 19th March 2020 helping to raise £147.00 for Comic Relief.
Choir and Bag packing
In the past our choir and Year 6 children go singing and bag packing at Tesco's, however this year we were unable to do so due to the pandemic.
Our Raffle was a great success and we hope the winning children have been enjoying opening their windows each day since the 1st of December 2020. The raffle raised £107 altogether. Thank you!
With Easter just around the corner, we wanted to give you the chance of winning a fabulous prize in our Easter Raffle. The raffle has raised £140 so far. However you don't have long left to get your final tickets. Thank you!
